Trivett Harley-Davidson Sydney

Meet Our Harley-Davidson Team

Scott Hogan (General Manager)

Scott Hogan

Anything on wheels interests me; fifteen years in the motor trade has provided many exciting experiences creating a passion for technical know-how.

As a qualified motor mechanic and auto electrician I mainly spent time on European brands.
Being a Harley-Davidson Fan my job is like a dream and it’s unusual but fantastic that our whole service team feels the same way.

Amongst other interests people are a big focus, and this brand certainly provides customers and staff from all walks of life, you learn quickly not to judge a book by its cover and that engines should be loud not quiet.

Harley-Davidson shouldn’t be classed in any one category but the common theme seems to be “enjoy life with a passion” which emanates from lifestyle and what this product symbolizes. Naturally another theme is “live to ride” this one speaks for itself and we are all drawn by it.

As a team we all have our own reasons why we embrace Harley-Davidson, for me it’s the combination of people, lifestyle and the continual accelerating growth of the company.

I have been involved in the Motorcycles Industry for 9 years now.

Over this time I have been running the admin/Spare parts sections in 3 businesses in Sydney, I have gained experience in 4 Franchise's and seen a lot of good and bad.

The motorcycle Industry has become my life, so when the opportunity to be involved with Trivett and Harley-Davidson came along I knew this was going to be my path. Harley-Davidson is a exciting product with so much history and has a buzz about it I haven't seen before. It's very cool.

Trivett also is such a strong and provisional company that we have the ability to be able to share its strengths with our customers.

Motorcycles got to me very early. I remember being an impatient 8 year old waiting for my older brother to let me ride a QA-50 on a property owned by friends of my parents, once I was in control I was gone and from that moment right up to this day I haven’t stopped wanting to get on a bike and just go.

I’d known Graeme since I was 12 and close to 3 years ago he offered me a chance to “Jump the Counter “ and be a part-time general hand in the store he ran in Sydney, soon an offer of permanent employment came and my life as a full-time professional musician was over.

Being involved with Harley-Davidson and Trivett is an honour; they are so far ahead of everybody else in the automotive industry I have to keep pinching myself to make sure I’m not dreaming.

I have been in the motorcycle industry since 1988 and I love my job mainly for the technical aspect of working with machines.

I initally got interested in motorcycles for one thing: Speed. My father is mad about motorsport so when I saw my first motorcycle road race, CASTROL 6 HOUR, on telly I new what I wanted to do. Going fast through a series of corners is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Dirt bikes were my first introduction into motorcycles. From there I got interested in custom bikes and of course Harley’s in particular.

I had built a few hot street cars in my teens and jumped at the chance to do an apprenticeship on motorcycles primarily building custom bikes from scratch.

The chance to work on Harley’s with factory backing and training was an opportunity I could not pass up.

It was an added bonus that I got that chance with a professional company like Trivett.

Our service department is small by comparison, but the team here are dedicated and very knowledgeable. I am looking forward to growing with this company.

I have been at Trivett since March 2007, but I am by no means new to the motorcycle world. I started out in 1994 working on Ducatis’ which is where I did my apprenticeship.

I then started working on Harleys towards the end of my training and have grown with Harley as all the new technology has been introduced, from fuel injection to the new V-Rod and everything in between.

When I am not working on them for a living I ride them for pleasure and take great pride and care in every job I do. I know how passionate people are about their pride and joy.

Bikes and cars have been my passion since I was a teenager.

I was a detailer for the past 10 years and during this time I ran my own detailing business and always took great pride in the job that I did.

My enthusiasm for bikes goes back to my early teen years, and like most of us, I did my fair share of bashing around the bush on trail bikes.

So when the opportunity came along for an apprenticeship with Trivett Harley –Davidson I jumped at the chance.

The opportunity to work on Harleys and be involved in this amazing lifestyle is something I am very grateful for.

I have so many favourite bikes, but I not only enjoy my job for the bikes but also for the people that I work with.

I have been at Trivett since October 2007.

Harley-Davidson is such a unique brand and I love the merchanise and apparel followed by a developed appreciation for the bikes. I’ve always worked in the fashion wholesaling industry and when the opportunity came along to manage the lifestyle division for Trivett Harley-Davidson, it was an opportunity I couldn’t miss!

Ever since I started working at Trivett my appreciation for the dazzling motorbikes grew immensely and the stereotypical view I once had towards Harley’s diminished.

People should buy their bikes and motorcycle apparel from Trivett because we offer exceptional customer service and have a large variety of motorcycle accessories.

I was born into the motorcycle world and it all started when I was 2 sitting on the petrol tank of my dad’s trail bikes. When I was 6 I got my first bike, which I will never sell and I haven't looked back since and have been in the industry since 1996.

Here at Trivett I get to work with top quality products every day in a pristine working environment. I'm always seeing something new and innovative.

The team at Trivett is fantastic and friendly. Many of us have known and worked with each at one time or another over the years so we work well together which translates to better customer service. We also keep an extensive range parts and accessories, so good chance we will have what you want first time.

I initially got interested in motorcycles by watching all types of motorcycle racing, particularly Isle of Man and N.W 200 when I was young. I have been in the industry for 15 years.

I love working at Trivett as every day presents a new challenge and each day is different.

Trivett is a great place to work since its great to belong to a team where the service continues long after a bike has been delivered. The people here truly look after their customers and their bikes.
